Well, the Chargers lost this game, but I don’t think anybody was under the illusion that the Chargers were going to win every game this season. I think Colson was doing a good job but he injured his shoulder and I read he’s out for the season. Herbert was sacked twice. He doesn’t seem to be getting the protection he needs. He also threw two interceptions. We had several penalties which cost us lots of yards.
On the bright side, Herbert and Johnston pulled off a play that was so precise that I wouldn’t have thought it was possible and scored a touchdown! It was amazing. Even if you didn’t watch the game it might be worth it to watch that play just for the thrill of it.
And there was a brilliant run by Hampton that got us 54 yards. Good times, good times.
On Sunday Oct 5 we play the Washington Commanders. Hopefully we excel in this game. Whatever happens, I plan to enjoy it.
Go Chargers!
